Terms of Publication & Copyright Licensing
1. Copyright Ownership (Author Retains Rights)
In accordance with Section 9 of our governance charter, authors retain copyright to their original work. By submitting to Bleeding Pages, the author grants the publisher a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to publish, display, distribute, archive, and include the work in digital archives and the annual print anthology, with first publication credit attributed to Bleeding Pages.
2. Licensing Models by Editorial Track
| Editorial Track | Applicable License | Permitted Re-use |
|---|---|---|
| Scholarly Track | Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) | Allows anyone to share, copy, and adapt the critical work, provided appropriate credit is given to the author and the original publication in Bleeding Pages is cited. |
| Creative Track | Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) | Protects creative writers and poets. Readers may share the work with attribution, but cannot monetize it, adapt it into screenplays, or create derivative works without the author's express permission. |
